Isn't that an amazing analogy? Christ is the bridegroom and the church is His bride. That's why since we have a bridegroom who died for us, we should be willing to honor Him with our whole lives. How many would die for their spouse? I think I would, how about you? Thank you so much for your comments and for your time visiting the site. Please come back and read more about God's word for us, and His love for us. And please share it with your friends. After all, look what God has shared with us.

Heaven won't come to earth, but people of the earth can go to heaven if they obey God's word. The tree of life is in the "Paradise of God". That's heaven. And that's where the faithful will go to live with God eternally. Of course heaven is a spiritual realm. there isn't a literal tree of life, but rather there is God who will sustain our spirits forever. God is the tree of life. God is Life, and He is eternal life. Thanks for visiting the site and for leaving your comments. May God bless you in the study of His word.

I just can't wait to eat the fruit from the tree of life.
I hope my actions here on Earth will bring heaven to earth.

After all, actions are faith. No actions mean no faith. That's how I interpret the verse.
You can't just say in your heart but take action.

Jim,
This article is a perfect picture of not only what our relationships with others should be, but also of Christ's love for us. He loved His bride so much that He died for her. How many of us would die for our spouse?

Thanks Paul for your input. Faith in ourselves is very important. So many people don't think they can succeed at anything, maybe because of previous failures, I don't know. But I do know that we all need to have faith in God. I believe that with all my heart. I would urge you to look to God in all things. And look to His word. Thanks again Paul, may you succeed in all that's good, Jim.

I believe in faith, faith brings wonderful things. To have faith in yourself and your own abilities is the best form of faith, however sometime we lose faith in ourselves and need guidance to recover.

Tammy, you're a wise woman! And it sounds like that wisdom is from God's word. Thanks so much for your comment. We both need to pray that everyone would view God's word as our guide. And not just as our guide, but as our absolute responsibility. Heb 5:9 says "He is the author of salvation to all those who OBEY Him. "It's not within man to direct his own steps", is it? Jeremiah 10:23. Again, thanks so much.

I agree with you about faith being equal parts action and belief. Words without action are empty.
Jesus said in Mt 7:24 Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
If you don't act on Jesus' words, then you are not buliding your house on the rock. Or you need to follow belief with action to have real faith.
