Thanks Josh, you do know your bible. It's great to talk with people who know and respect the word. Now if we can only get the whole world to think like that, we'll be doing good. Talk to you later Josh. Your friend, Jim.

Glad to have your comments Kevin. It does pay to hear the word again and again doesn't it? That how we learn and that's how we stay grounded in the truth. You would be doing me a great favor if you would refer people here, or share these articles on social media. What kind of questions do you hear people ask regarding the bible? Is there anything that you don't understand as well as you'd like? Please let me know if there is anything. Thanks again Kevin.. Jim

Hey Jim
What a great well written article explaining the differences. I did know most of this but rereading it in this article had helped me understand it a bit easier. I think this article could help many people. Good luck

Galatians is what I intended, although my mind automatically reverted to Colossians 3:11 "Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all."

Hi Jim
Your post reminds me that you can really have a niche on any topic. Although this topic is clearly a lot more than a niche to you.
This article was crammed with interesting facts, many of which I was not aware of. For instance, I didn't know that Jesus was a physical descendant of the Tribe of Judah.
I would imagine there are many, many more differences between the two testaments.

All the very best to you

Hi Josh, thanks for your input. I think you meant to write Galatians, right? It does do a great job of explaining the difference. It sounds like maybe you enjoy the bible. I encourage you to look over the rest of the website and read more of the answer articles. Let me know if I can help you in any way. Thanks again Josh.. Jim.

I think Colossians chapter 3 does a great job of summing of the difference between Old & New Testament. And you mentioned it with verse 27. Until the time of Christ, God's people were the Israelites and they were set apart due to unique customs & practices they observed.

Paul hit the nail on the head with Colossian 3:27 as it mentions anybody regardless of gender, heritage, or race could follow Christ. Paul was, after all, the missionary to the Gentiles. Peter had the vision before meeting the Roman soldier and healing his daughter....
