Hello Sondra and I do thank you for your comments. There is quite a bit of information in that article, but I did try to address things very clearly. Sometimes we've just got to gather all the information that the bible has to say on a given subject, and then put it all together to understand the truth of the matter. There are a lot of things like that in the bible, and that's exactly why God urges us all to study! See 2 Tim 2:15. But when you do study all that the bible says, you can then see through all the false teachings and finally see the clear truth.

Isn't it strange how people have always wanted to predict when the end of time would be, when Jesus Himself said.. "But of that day or hour, no man knows. Not even the angels in heaven nor the Son, but the Father alone!" Mark 13:32. Why on earth would any man think he could predict the end of time, when not even the angels of heaven know when it will be? The Father ALONE knows. You don't have to be a scholar to figure that one out.

God knows that there are actually few who truly want to know the truth. But He has promised that if we DO "hunger and thirst after righteousness, we will be filled" Mathew 5:6.

My prayer is that you will read more of the articles here on the site, and that you will truly find it in your heart to hunger for the truth. Please ask if I can help in any way. I know of many faithful brethren down there in Colorado. Thanks again for visiting and for commenting. Jim

Jim,

I'm thankful that I came across this lesson. You have shared a very detailed analysis of the tribulation. In some ways, I feel compelled to take more time to digest what I have read.

Lately, I've been involved with a friend that belongs to a church that has repeatedly tried to predict when the End was going to be. One of his fellow church members said they have passed three different dates in her lifetime. The unfortunate thing is that my friend has never really had hopes for the future on Earth or planned because he was raised to believe the end was imminent. To further complicate matters, they believe they are the elect few and that they should not share the gospel with outsiders unless the outsiders first come to them.

While I haven't wanted to accuse the leadership in his church of being false prophets, I am glad to be reminded of what Jesus said. I find that the bible contains so many details that are not readily apparent until the Lord is ready for us to understand the meaning.
Tribulation is one such example.

May your day be filled with grace and peace.
