Hi Jeffrey. Thanks for coming back again. We do need to prioritize. Sometimes it’s a difficult reality to admit, but our priorities do reveal where our hearts are. We almost always have time for the things that we love the most. Unfortunately, that often leaves the bible out in the cold. I guess what we need to realize is a fact that the bible itself states quite clearly; And that fact is.. “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God”. Rom 10:17. So in other words. If we don’t take the time to study the bible, we will not have faith. And just as important, is the fact that, “without faith, it is impossible to please God.” Heb 11:6.

As for the best time of day to study the bible; the bible itself doesn’t give us a “best” time. But here’s a quote from Deuteronomy 11:18-20, “You shall therefore put these words of Mine on your heart and on your soul. And you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontals on your forefead. And you shall teach them to your sons, talking of them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road. And when you lie down, and when you rise up. And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gate.”

In other words, the word of God should absolutely fill your days and your life. Pesonally, I like to study the bible, the first thing in the morning, and the last thing at night. That way you get to ponder it’s words all day long, and all night long.

A very good article we all need to read and learn from, I am guilty as many people about falling short on my willingness to study the word of God as much as I should.

Like many people I become busy at times and put the wrong things as my priorities, I must start putting Gods word and my studies first in my life every day instead of just days when I have more time.

When is the best time for people to study Gods word with today’s busy schedules?
