I have difficulty stopping sexual lust, and the bible warnings about eternal suffering for those who consistently and consciously commit any sin has made me unsure if I'm saved for most of my life. I'm 31 years old as of this writing. I sometimes control myself for a few days longer than usual, which amounts to four days. Most of the time I lust every two days. Shortly after I do that I get more doubt than usual that there's life after death and that God is real. This doesn't get so intense that I struggle to function normally, but lately I've been having worse doubt that God's real after lusting because his relation to time confuses me. also hate how little sexual interest women have shown in men compared to how often men have that interest in women, and it makes me feel like that desire is a waste of passion in men most of the time. I've seen people say that if you still have the desire to sin even if you stop yourself, you likely aren't saved, because saved people desire to be more like how God says to be and consistently become more like that. They often call consistent conscious sin habitual sin. I also wonder if hating the belief that God won't restore all good things he made forever is sin. Many Christians think there being no more sea in Revelation is literal, which would also leave many animals dead, and that horrifies me to think any being would have no hope after death. Their lives would be a waste. I feel the same about the interpretation of no more marrying and being given in marriage meaning the state of marriage being eliminated forever. I'm certain that getting rid of a desire for something God made in nature to enjoy is manipulation of free will.
