Thanks for your comments. Is there a particular verse that you have in mind when you say.. “that verse is not meant for us today” ? I assume that you mean the teaching of some particular verse doesn’t apply to us today. Is that correct?

Easy to read a verse and not keep in context. That verse is not meant for us today, etc.
