Sorry for the delay in my response to your question. May I ask what exactly you mean by the words.. "may we edify" another congregation? Of course to edify means to build up or strengthen. And so considering that meaning, one congregation can certainly do various kinds of work that would help build up another congregation. Of course the other congregation must be willing to allow us to help them. We have no authority to force ourselves services upon another congregation. I often see congregations helping other congregations, and have participated in such efforts also. For example, if a congregation is without a preacher for one reason or another, another congregation could help by sending a man over there to do some fill-in preaching for them. Many times a congregation will ask another congregation to help them by providing a preacher to come and conduct a revival meeting, or as it's commonly called, a "gospel meeting". Financial assistance is often requested by a congregation facing some specific need. But there are many ways that one congregation can help edify another congregation, provided that the other congregation desire the help. Do you have any other questions about this?

Thank you Adam. You give me so much encouragement. Thank you again. That reminds me of Romans 1:12; "..that is, that we may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith, both yours and mine."
