I never thought about the saying “born again” Christian actually include ALL who are Christians, and that if you aren’t born again, you aren’t Christian. Again, very insightful, and gives me a bit to think about!

Hello sir. I do appreciate your comments. I know several people who are athiests. Several friends. I wish they believed differently, but I can’t seem to away their opinion. I do find it a bit interesting that you might like reading the bible. I think that would be a great idea. Would you be willing to come back here and read some more articles on various topics? That would be a great way to at least get a feel for what type of things are in the bible. Please let me know how you feel about that. Jim

I am personally not a religious person. I just simply don’t believe that there is something or someone out there, which is above us and is the creator of us all. I do believe that religion has a purpose in this world, though.
And all that is contained in that book actually represents something good, valuable lessons about life. I have never touched the book myself. Do you believe that even though I am an atheist, I would enjoy in reading this book ?

Thanks Nancy, please do bookmark this site. I’m going to begin a series of shorter “Spiritual Thoughts” section, where you can go and just read some tthings that will hopefully motivate you to think on certain things that day, or that week, Bible teachings are actually fairly easy to understand. I think the most important thing is that a person actually wants to understand. Remember the words of Jesus when He said, “Seek and you shall find, ask and you shall receive, knock and the door shall be opened”. Jesus is promising that those who sincerely desire to know about the kingdom and about salvation, will find it. But one must truly want it with all their heart. That’s also why God said of His New Covenant, that He would “write it on their hearts”. It’s there for everyone. but everyone doesn’t want it. Jesus said, “..And few are those who find it”.
