Thanks for your comments.  I however do believe that the scriptures disagree with you.  Of course God didn&#039;t create Adam to be sinful.  God created Adam to be in fellowship with Him.  However, God did create Adam as a mortal being. There is no scripture that claims otherwise.  But to suggest that just because God created Adam to be mortal, that would somehow mean that God is mortal, is simply irrational.  God was obviously free to create anything He chose, in whatever way He chose.  Man was created &quot;in the likeness&quot; of God, because man was given a spirit.  The spiritual nature of man is what makes man &quot;in the image of God&quot;.]]></description>
