Yes Adam, Jesus is “the way, the truth, and the life”. Thanks again for reading the articles and for your comments. It would be nice if you could visit us though. What would prevent that? We know God’s will shall be done. Maybe that’s something we need to pray for. Amen to that.

Jesus is the only way to go to heaven, but I cannot find any other way.

Hello Adam. We might be able to think of even more ways that Christ overcame the world. I guess Christ really overcame in ALL ways! I pray to god that we all could have such strength. Hi Chappy, I thank you for your comments. I did actually use this article for a Sunday morning sermon last week. I wanted everyone to really appreciate the importance of the resurrection of Christ. As the scriptures say; If Christ is not raised, our faith is worthless, and we are still in our sins. 1 Cor 15:17.

I truly appreciate your comments, but I do feel the need to make a response to your suggestion of “the sinner’s prayer”. We can search the bible front to back, but nowhere do we find the teaching of a “sinner’s prayer”. I of course agree whole heartedly that we must humbly pray to God without ceasing. (1 Thess 5:17). We must pray for our daily sustenance, for the forgiveness of our sins, and for strength when tempted. (Mat 6:11-13)

Your example of a sinner’s prayer does include a sense of humility and repentance, and the acknowledgment that Jesus is the Christ, and also the request for forgiveness of sins. And all these things are absolutely required by God. And for someone who is already a Christian, that is all that’s required by God to receive forgiveness of your sin. But for the person wanting to become a Christian, we must never leave out the importance of baptism. After all, it’s during our baptism, that our sins are actually “washed away”. Acts 22:16 says; “And now why do you delay? Arise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on His name.”

My prayer is that we would all do everything that God requires from us to be saved, and to remain saved. “And what does the Lord require of you, but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” Micah 6:8.
